A smiling patient after a comfortable first dental visit

What to expect at your first visit

We know a new dental office can feel intimidating, so we do our best to make you feel at home. A friendly team member will greet you, gather your information, and review your medical and dental history.

  1. Getting to know you

Your first appointment is a little longer than a typical cleaning because we take time to talk about your past dental experiences, main concerns, and goals.

  2. X-rays and exam

We take any necessary X-rays and photos so our doctors can examine your teeth, gums, and jaw. We also screen the tongue, cheeks, throat, jaw joint, and neck for oral cancer.

  3. Your plan

The doctor reviews your images with you and explains any recommended treatment. Ask anything. You are part of the decision.

  4. Cleaning

Our gentle hygienist cleans your teeth. If a deeper cleaning is needed for gum health, we schedule extra time for it.

Insurance and payment

Call us at (706) 778-6260 with your insurance information before your visit. Our team will help you understand your benefits, and we always explain treatment costs before any work is scheduled.

For your privacy, please do not send detailed health information by email or social media. We will review your health history securely at your appointment.
